Panelized
Wall and floor panels pack tighter. Site assembly and weather exposure stay on the buyer side until the quote says otherwise.
Foldable
Travel size and opened size are both required. Connections, unfolding sequence and the foundation interface belong in the same brief.
Steel systems
Clear span, eave height and bay spacing define a pre-engineered frame. Purlin and girt spacing follow the opening schedule.
Six items a factory needs before numbers mean anything
Use
Office, classroom, welfare unit or storage changes occupancy, exits and the fire-resistance rating to request.
Dimensions
Length, width and eave or module height, plus whether the figure is transport size or opened size.
Loads
Design live load, design dead load, wind speed, wind exposure category, ground snow load and seismic design category when known.
Jurisdiction
City or county, and whether IBC, IRC or another adopted code is the review path. HUD Code is a different dwelling regime.
Scope
Name shell, delivered, installed or turnkey. Foundation, utilities and permits stay separate until a supplier writes them in.
Release
Quantity, destination, requested timing and who unloads the truck. Freight is its own line.
